Rise Up! Illumicrate Unboxing

This gorgeous chock full of stuff box was so full they had to delay it to get boxes of the right size. And they never cease to amaze me. Let’s start from the Illumicrate card:

  • Inimitable Mug by Abbie Imagine.
  • Blood and Sand by C. V. Wyn which I already had as it had some delightful preorder incentives, however the book doesn’t go to waste since it goes to a friend.
  • Restore Me/Shatter Me notebook.
  • Daggermark by R. Jack.
  • Blood and Sand temporary tattoo and a Pin too.
  • Scarlet lip balm by Lovely Lip Balm (it is Red Cherry flavoured and yum!)
  • The Hazel Wood notebook with a tiny pen.
  • ARC copy of The Smoke Thieves by Sally Green which is on my list of books to read so wonderful addition.
  • Promotional Witchsign bookmark, Strange The Dreamer postcard and Clean sampler.
  • A Rebel’s Command Listpad by Howstore Official with moons and grey (my favourite mix of things!)
  • Fight the Darkness pillow coverby Stella Bookish Art with a wonderful quote.
  • A phoenix/Fawkes magnet by Hannah Hitchman (I want this as a sticker for my laptop).

Medieval Mayhem Fanmail Unboxing

The theme was exciting for me, and then they announced it’d include an ARC of Tess of the Road which I was looking forward to reading, so definite yes from me.

Just in case you didn’t know, they aren’t a “book box” but rather they do fandom goodies, which may coincide with bookish fandoms.

So here’s the contents of the box:

  • An ARC of Tess of the Road. Dragons, dragons, dragons, what else can I say?
  • Nailed It! nail decals with chainmail, they are quite cool looking (or should I say medieval looking?)
  • The Medieval Mayhem leaflet with suggestions of shows to watch and things to do.
  • My box was SO magical and full of mayhem, that the necklace/charm that was supposed to come with it disappeared (see the black empty jewelry box). No worries, they are lovely and will send the missing item.
  • A Merlin pouch. I love Merlin and by doing my unboxing on Instagram discovered that a couple of my friends also do.
  • And a heavy comb for Game of Thrones (no risk of breaking I think).

All in all a nice lovely box which made me quite happy.

And I am glad about it, because look at that gorgeous exclusive book cover in hardback (and let’s go clockwise):

  • The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert. One of those books I was really excited about and this is my absolute favourite cover so I am SO glad about it.
  • Grimm Tales mug by Aunjuli Art. This is a dreamy mug so I am very happy for the design.
  • Poisonous Apple bath salts by Little Heart. I am eager to try them out!
  • Little Red Riding Hood woodmark by Ink and Wonder.
  • Fairyscoop, Twisted Tales theme card and bookmark.
  • The Witch and the Ginger Bread House socks by Fairyloot.

Bookish Teas Anniversary Box

Bookish Teas makes the most amazing teas. They are inspired by books and characters and it is just the best tea I’ve had.

The anniversary box was gorgeous, just look at all the goodies. Going clockwise, starting with the print on the left:

  • Anniversary Print by Kim Carlika. This is super dreamy, a lot of lovelies coming out of a cup of tea.
  • A pretty tin of fruit tea which is the anniversary tea.
  • All the feels candle by Glittering Flames, this has a soft flowery smells, quite interesting.
  • French Kiss tea, a green tea blend inspired by Anna and The French Kiss.
  • Thus with a Kiss I Die, a blend of black tea inspired by Romeo & Juliet.
  • Anna and the French Kiss sticker, which is very cute and it has a lovely romantic feel.
  • Anniversary tea mirror.

Into Dystopia Book Box Club Unboxing

As you may already know (if you don’t you’ll soon find out), I have been subscribed to Book Box Club since they started and this box didn’t disappoint (it also had me guessing the book like crazy!)

So let’s start this unboxing from the theme card (it’s at the bottom of the picture):

  • Into Dystopia theme card.
  • Orphan Monster Spy publisher’s promotional postcard.
  • Outwalkers by Fiona Shaw. Such a difficult book to find but it does look so gorgeous!
  • The Hazel Wood bookmarks (there’s a few others around the picture).
  • Orange Zest Gnaw chocolate (it is yummy, survival supplies indeed!)
  • Supplies to Stay Alive list pad by Bread and Jam. I love the fact that it has a magnetized strip at the back so it has gone on my fridge for all my shopping lists.
  • Handmaid’s Tale Cuff by Beautifully Bookish. It has the pseudo latin quote on it and it is very pretty (I tried very hard to show it off here in the picture but failed).
  • The Belles promotional postcard.
  • Dauntless Tea by Craft Tea Company. It has lemon grass so it absolutely wins in my books.
  • Scrolled clubhouse invite
  • And a gorgeous silver arrow pen by Book Box Club. It is amazing.

As Cold As Ice Ninja Book Box

Ninja Book Box is all about indie books and indie/small businesses and it shows in their boxes.

Starting with the gloves and going clockwise (the theme was about winter survival and cold):

  • Blue fingerless gloves, they are really soft and I love the mix of stitches in them.
  • Ninja Recipe for a Baked Alaska (pun in the name of the dessert to fit the theme).
  • Lanolin lip balm to help protect your lips (but lanolin in general is good) by Little Beau Sheep.
  • Lime and dark chocolate bar by Kentish Chocolates (my boyfriend loved it! I usually share my chocolate bars with him but this one he chomped away and wouldn’t share).
  • A snowflake charm by Ninja Book Box.
  • A swing kit in a small mason jar which is adorable and sweet and definitely helpful.
  • And the book, Dead of Winter by Gerri Brightwell.

I have to admit, I had forgotten i had subscribed to their boxes rather than purchased a one off for the anniversary box,  so this box was a suprise (woops). But it was a pleasant (and apparently yummy too) one!

February Fantasy Leafer Box Unboxing

Here we go with Leafer Box, an easy accesible box, and of course it was about Love (and talking of love, I love that tissue paper they use in the boxes!)

Let’s see what was inside, starting from the book and going clockwise:

  • Where Demons Fear to Tread by Stephanie Chong.
  • A beautiful silver feather necklace (it is glittery and very pretty).
  • Maya Gold Green & Black’s chocolate (there’s always chocolate in their boxes and I always rush to take the unboxing picture so I can dig in)
  • Heart bookmark, the little heart charm is very sweet.
  • Homemade candle, it smells softly of flowers and it’s a soft baby pink.

All in all a lovely box once again.

Truth & Lies Wildest Dreams Unboxing

Third Wildest Dreams box I have received.

Let’s start with the book and go clockwise:

  • The Truth and Lies of Ella Black by Emily Barr. I’ve heard a lot about this book so I am looking forward to reading it.
  • Lies Require Commitment candle by Taken Moons Candles. It smells of cherry and has glitter.
  • Hogwarts houses bookmark
  • Veritaserum (truth) tea by Rosie Lea Tea and teabags (I now want a test tube wooden rack to display my teas).
  • Sweets, which I love.
  • Signed bookplate
  • Letter from the author.

Another sweet box from Wildest Dreams :), which sold out and apparently March’s Family Ties box is almost sold out! I am so happy for Zoe 🙂

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na Batman! Litjoy Crate Unboxing

January’s LitJoy Crate featured Batman Nightwalker by Marie Lu and had an awesome box.

You can also see my new background jigsaw (and one fo the two pieces missing that Vixy chewed). Starting on the book and going clockwise:

  • Batman Nightwalker by Marie Lu, this is signed. She curated this box so it was extra special.
  • Blame the virus, not the fever card, it has the author’s letter on the other side.
  • Fear Clears the Mind pouch by Evie Seo, a high quality pouch which I am loving.
  • Two Batman Arkham Asylum Inmate pins.
  • Rhysand print by Arrabelle.
  • Batman Nail Polish which I have been wearing this week and it is awesome! Kinda black/purple with sparkle effect.
  • You can’t see it but there was a Batman call sign pen, and you can see the Call sign here (top of the Lit Joy black box)
  • Theme card.
  • Origami Crane necklace. I love the little box and presentation of this necklace.
  • Batman can/bottle opener keychain.
  • Two tone candle from A Court of Candles. This one smells delicious and I love that it is dark then light.

All in all I absolutely loved this box. It made my day and I really liked most of the items 🙂

Geeks Unite Book Box Club Unboxing

January’s Book Box Club was all about being geek and of course I had to collaborate with their little project. So let’s do the unboxing starting from the theme card and going clockwise:

  • Theme card, in a bright set of Super power colours.
  • Brains are the New Black tote bag by Newton and The Apple. It made me smile when I saw it, now I want a T-shirt with this on it…
  • The Fandom by Anna Day. I actually have an ARC from this that I started and didn’t complete (because sometimes I just am not in the mood for it not because of the book).
  • A Book Box Club badge/pin that is a thank you for buying 10 or more boxes, which I love. It is on my coat now.
  • Fangirling candle by Bookworm Candles, their candles usually come with a cute crocheted ring.
  • Scrolled Clubhouse invitation.
  • I am a badass magnet by Book Box Club.
  • Boom Pow Nail Wraps by Dinkibelle, which look pretty cool and I’ll probably mess up (I suck at this).
  • And a geeky calendar with wonderful artworks by 12 artists, which is such a lovely little thing to include.

I am excited to see what’s next plus they just revealed their March topic.
